I've lookedĪt USB settings for every USB port to make sure that Windows is not turning them off to save power with that feature. Add M-AUDIO Fast Track Ultra to your hardware list Windows 8.1, Windows 8.1 64-bit, Windows 8, Windows 8 64-bit, Windows 7, Windows 7 64-bit, Windows Vista, Windows Vista 64-bit, Windows XP, Mac OS 10.x, Mac OS X, Mac OS X 10.6. I think I even had 1.0.6 which didn't work either.

To explain what the PC thinks is happening is someone unplugging and plugging the USB cord in and out of the PC over and over. It literally shows under playback devices & recording devices the device disappearing and appearing again. The main issue that I'm having is the M-Audio device is intermittently turning off & on after about 30 seconds up to 2 minutes of use. This email has also been sent to M-Audio, but it may in fact be a Windows driver issue, or that Windows is not accepting/allowing the driver for this device to work properly.
